So I missed my DAnniversary AGAIN! April 8th marked three years for me on deviantART! In a couple days I'll also be hitting 15,000 page views.
I just wanted to say thank you, because in the last couple weeks I've had quite a few people looking at my art work, whether it be just passing by, watching, or favoriting. I really appreciate it, because I want my work to be known, and recognizable. I know lately, with my drawing classes and such, I'm going through a bit of improvement, and slight style changes, but I hope you'll enjoy what comes.
Animethon Artist Alley meetings are still coming. The next one looks to be on the 25th of this month. I won't be able to make it because I'll be at the Calgary Comic Expo, so I hope if you guys are interested, you'll head on over to the Grant MacEwan downtown campus on the 25th at 1pm for the meeting.

You can read about the FAQ system that I suggested here

And hmm a faq section is a great idea. Though I have to say... DevArt is disappointing me with this new critique thing. I thought the whole point of DA is to share and help each other improve... now it's just a place where you post your art and get comments. >< If I got a lot of "nice" and "cool" before, I get the feeling I'll be getting even more of them now. :/ I've been wanting to get that out of my system for a while now, so you're my victim.

The critique system DOES help artists evolve. I've been using it to tell artists what I think is wrong with their work, and how to fix it (IMO of course), as well as what I think is great about the work.
I don't think you'll have to worry about the comments you're getting. All you have to do is leave the critique system off if you ever subscribe again. It's not mandatory. Things might be a little strange for a couple weeks, because people are playing with the system, but meh, it'll go back to normal. The critique system is more for people who are really serious about looking for that feed back, and want detailed comments on it. There's nothing to worry about

And I know ^^ I just hope it's for the good for my current watchers. I've been working hard in my drawing class.

And now I'm afraid people will only post critiques in the special critique section, and just post general 'good job' comments on everything else.
But hopefully you're right and everything will go back to normal.
I worded it badly. Do you get what I mean now? lol

Well, I think the 100 word count will fix that, plus ability to post critiques. Can nonsubscribed people post critiques? I was under the impression that they couldn't, but thought that was silly lol.
Honestly though, unless it was a really in depth comment about your work, it was difficult for me to reach those 100 word counts. Although, I managed to pass them, with plenty of words in the end. Also, it's rather useful that you don't need the critique setting on your work. You can ask for it, and say you would like some feed back instead of worrying about "nice" and "cool" comments. Pch, you know I'll always give you a damn good comment/critique if you want it
